Angelica Kosher Chef's Restaurant in Jerusalem

Few weeks ago, we visited a Kosher Chef's Restaurant in Jerusalem - Angelica.

Angelica is located at the King David’s Crown residential project, one block from the King David Hotel. 

Chef Marcos Gershkowitz is responsible to the great dishes that Angelica offers ,made of prime meat, fish and vegetables aiming to create fresh, accurate and colorful dishes.

We decided to trust Chef Marcos Gershkowitz and let him decide what we would eat.


Liver Pâté - Onion and cinnamon jam, cocoa beans and pistachio crumble.

Qatayef Filled  with veal ribs, Oyster. mushroom and demi-glace sauce.

Seared Tuna - Black garlic cream,caraway, yuzu gel, horseradish leaves, shallots, tomato powder.

Sweetbread Salad - Cilantro leaves, pomelo, orange, mint, green onion, chili, curry, cashews and soy sauce.

All starters were extremely delicious and unique.

We enjoyed lovely Cocktails while waiting for main courses.


Main courses:

Grilled Beef Fillet 200 gr. - Root vegetables cream, broccolini, sweet potato, chestnuts and shallots  Demi-glace.

Entrecôte 300 gr. - Potato purée, bone marrow and red wine sauce.

Premium meat perfectly made. Every bite was a great pleasure.

For desserts we got Tapioca and delicious Brownie dessert.



We had great time at Angelica. There is a very pleasant environment, very good service and fantastic food.
