50th anniversary to Sea Dolphin Restaurant at Jerusalem
Sea Dolphin Restaurant is one of the oldest and most famous restaurants in Jerusalem. The restaurant celebrates 50 years of success.
Sea Dolphin was opened in 1967, when the city was liberated, and became the first Israeli restaurant to open in East Jerusalem on Salah a-Din Street.
With the outbreak of the first Intifada, the restaurant was closed in the eastern part of the city and moved to Tel Aviv, until the beginning of the 2000s, then it returned to the capital, and since then the "Dolphin Yam" restaurant has been located in the center of Jerusalem.
Among the restaurant's clients along the years, many Celebrities and key people such as:
Prime minister Yitzhak Rabin, Minister of Defense Moshe Dayan, Meir Dagan, Yuval Diskin, Dalia Dorner, Aharon Barak, Yoram Gaon , Omri Caspi and many more.
For it's 50th Anniversary, there's a new menu from the French cuisine, inspired by the identity of the city Jerusalem, including strawberry "Seviche", leek fillet topped with lemon sauce, mint, sea fillet in crab and pine sauce, double seafood platter, meat platter for two and more.
In addition, there's the 50th anniversary Wine 2015 - a dry white wine in cooperation with Ortal winery from the northern Golan Heights in a special edition (only 1200 bottles) and a new business menu.
The Sea Dolphin Restaurant covers an area of 300 square meters with 150 seats and includes a variety of fresh fish and seafood, alongside fine meats, pastas, vegetarian dishes and children's dishes, from the highest quality raw materials, treated professionally and highly skilled.
The restaurant has a reputation throughout the city of Jerusalem and beyond, the restaurant has a rich wine menu from the owner's private collection and a wide range of premium, old-fashioned and smoky drinks. The restaurant is divided into three main areas: for private or business events, for up to 65 places and 35 more places Outside.
We came to enjoy the 50th Anniversary celebration and enjoyed very much - from the wonderfull food, the special environment, and the very warm hosting.
