Few weeks ago we arrived to Shtarkman Erna boutique hotel at Nahariya to "taste" what it offers in its Special Weekends new program.

Shtarkman Erna Nahariya is a unique family boutique hotel.
Recently, the hotel has undergone renovations, renovations and re-furnishing, and is now launching cultural weekends that include fascinating lectures by leading film, music and cultural lecturers, as well as the rich cultural and historical tours Nahariya has to offer.

Between lectures and tours, guests will enjoy an experiential dinner at the famous Banahla restaurant, cocktails and a dance party.

About Shtarkman Erna boutique hotel 

Founded in 1959, the hotel has always been a pastoral holiday hotel for foreign residents, families and business people. The hotel boasts a perfect location in one of Nahariya's quietest and most exclusive areas within walking distance from the sea, the magnificent promenade and the city center.
Today the hotel is run by the third generation of the family and is currently being renewed by the CEO, Shiran Shtarkman, the granddaughter of Erna, founder of the hotel.

Combining a classic European family-style resort with innovative amenities and meticulous aesthetic design, the hotel allows its guests to enjoy a relaxing and intimate holiday. Visitors and guests of the hotel can admire the collection of historical items since its establishment, giving it a nostalgic classic touch, from fascinating pictures and books to good music from the days of the picturesque city of Nahariya. The hotel's stylish lobby and dining room create a relaxing and cultured European ambience, and a magical and private garden is available.

A rich Israeli breakfast is served every morning in the hotel's dining room, which has become a household name, with a variety of breads, cereals and pastries, various salads including tabouleh, chopped vegetable salad, quinoa, beets, tuna and more. By choice, a huge selection of cheeses, fruit, muesli, fruit salad and more. In the dessert section, you can enjoy Grandma Arena's famous strudel, chocolate truffles, self-made cheesecake, poppy cake, croissants and more.
On Fridays and holidays, at 17:00, the guests enjoy the "Mitkohn Cafe" - the hotel's tradition of coffee, hot and light drinks, wine, cookies and of course the unique and unique strudel in the hotel's kitchen.
   
The hotel features 30 luxuriously designed rooms and suites, including a wide bed, a large LCD screen with a variety of channels, a fine sound system, mini fridge, coffee corner and free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel.

• The hotel's rich breakfast - 75 NIS per person.
• The cost of hosting in Café Mittkochen is NIS 55 per person.

As stated, the hotel is launching a weekend for cultural lovers, culinary and lifestyle groups on: December 14, 2017, 25.1.2018 and 8/3/2018

Thursday
15:00 - 17:00 Arrival and rich reception.
19:00 - Dinner at the Banahala restaurant.
20:30 - Classical music in the palaces and jazz, pop and park festivals are packed with crowds
             - Music as an expression of social perception, in its various incarnations - a musical lecture by Hanan Drori.
21:30 - Dance party

Friday
7:30 - Breakfast
9:30 am - guided walking tour - Nahariya - the story of the founding families.
From the unique hotel, designed in a typical European atmosphere, participants took a walking tour of the streets of Nahariya, following the founders - "Germans of the Mosaic faith" (as the yekkes used to call themselves sometimes).
Will visit the lands of the "economic" families, who have left their cultural / economic mark on the image of the state - for years to come. And learn about the cornerstones of the city.
13:00 - Independent lunch.
16:30 - Kabbalat Shabbat: Starkman Hotel - the story of a family.
19:00 - Dairy dinner at the hotel.
21:00 - Great works, luxury products and world-class lifestyle - a lecture accompanied by spectacular photographs. Lecturer: Hila Nevo.

Saturday
7:30 - Breakfast
10: 00- "La Dolce Vita" - The Good Life in the Cinema - a lecture combined with films by Alon Gur-Aryeh.
From the image of the poor tramp Charlie Chaplin through the romantic comedies of Marilyn Monroe, to the hedonism of James Bond. The search for happiness, love and money is a common human denominator. In the lecture, film director and filmmaker Alon Gur-Arie will reveal behind the scenes of some of the masterpieces that have touched on "the good life" presented by the cinema. How did a yacht, exotic countries and diamonds become a symbol of the longed-for happiness? Why should the audience always prefer a happy end to the movies they watch? And what is the process that each of us goes through while watching a movie?
Alon Gur Arie - Screenplay director and lecturer at the cinematheques, Eshkol, Avshalom Institute and Magid Institute. Wrote and directed for Channel 2.10 and the children's channels. His satirical film The Closed Mossad won six international awards. Writes the column "The Troubled Club Club" on the Web site and a funny man in general.
